The Paris Collection of European Art

From the 1950s to the early 1970s, Anastasios G. Leventis assembled an eclectic private collection of artworks from a diverse range of artistic schools and styles, including the Old Masters, academic art, Impressionism and early Modernism. This unique group of works, dating from the 17th century to the 20th, was displayed in his Paris home alongside a wealth of period furniture and decorative arts objects; it became known as the “Paris Collection” of European Art.
