Cyprus Red Cross

The Cyprus Red Cross Society (C.R.C.S.) Home for Sick Children was founded in 1957 and originally operated in Kyrenia till 1974. Since 1980 it is offering physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, medical and nursing care and other services to 75 children up to 18 years of age, with severe and multiple disabilities, in its new premises in Limassol. Today, dedicated specialised therapy personnel and a fully comprehensive and constantly upgraded set of equipment, provide healthcare and therapeutic treatment of the highest standard. The Home is the largest project of the Society and it is mainly supported through the love and care of C.R.C.S. members and volunteers, the Cyprus Government and organisations such as the A. G. Leventis Foundation.
