MDA Hellas

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Hellas, founded in January 2000, is an organization which supports those suffering from MD and other diseases of the nervous and muscular system. Its main aim is the enhancement of quality of life, providing medical and community services to those affected, as well as the education of health professionals and the general public. It is also engaged on a more scientific level, in its funding of research into Muscular Dystrophy, and other neuromuscular diseases. The Foundation has supported the charity in their aims by funding the purchase of the organization’s “Youth Centre” building.
