The A. G. Leventis Conservation Library and Resource Centre, Cambridge Conservation Initiative

The Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI) is a novel partnership between the University of Cambridge and the largest cluster of biodiversity conservation organisations in the world. CCI works to transform nature conservation globally through the integration of research, practice, policy and learning to create innovative solutions and deliver environmentally sustainable development. With support from the A. G. Leventis Foundation, CCI is creating the Cambridge Conservation Campus, a multidisciplinary centre of excellence at the heart of the University in central Cambridge. The Campus will provide a global hub for leading conservation scholars and practitioners to collaborate and from which CCI can foster a change in attitudes, policies, actions and behaviours for the benefit of nature and people all over the world. The Foundation’s support will establish a unique Conservation Library and Resource Centre within the Campus as a nucleus for collaborative research, teaching, leadership training and the dissemination and sharing of information.
