Olympia Summer Academy in Politics and International Studies, 2008-2019

Going from strength to strength since its establishment in 2002, the Olympia Summer Academy (OSA) is an acclaimed educational institution in political science and international studies with a three-fold aim: to disseminate new research advances, to provide a platform for the creation and consolidation of scholarly networks of cooperation, and to promote the image of Greece abroad. During the course of the support of the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the OSA hosted about 120 professors and 680 students from over 30 countries, increased its educational programmes from one to six and became the only summer programme in Europe in its field organised under the auspices of the European International Studies Association. Today, the programme is honoured by the constant support of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, and former Presidents Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Karolos Papoulias have hosted the organisers at the Presidential Mansion, in honour of their international contribution.
