The Archaia Kypriaki Grammateia Digital Corpus

Begun in the 1980s, and published between 1995 and 2008, the Foundation sponsored the research and publication of the Archaia Kypriaki Grammateia project - six volumes that contain the surviving works and fragments of Greek literature written by Cypriots up to the end of the Roman Empire. With further support from the Foundation, The Cyprus Institute now aims to digitize the whole work, making the ancient Cypriot texts available in electronic format. They will be complemented by a parallel Modern Greek translation, as well as a rich resource of critical footnotes and primary source references. The system, with its advanced search tools, will be user- friendly, and accessible to both experts and members of the public.
